• The Reading Comprehension question were around 10 related to brand or business. 
• Questions were asked from synonyms, fillers, error detection related to traditional pattern.
• Questions were also asked from the Cloze test, sentence rearrnagement around 4-5 questions.
• Match the column questions were also asked in the paper, and phrase replacement.

As per the candidates feedback the difficulty level of the IBPS Clerk prelims exam 2026 was between easy to moderate.

The difficulty level of the English Language section of the IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam 2026 as per the intial feedback of the candidates was easy. The total number of good attempts in this section of 30 questions can be 21 to 25.

In the English Language section of the IBPS Clerk Prelims exam 2026, the questions asked in the first shift were as follows:-

• Reading Comprehension: around 8-10 questions were asked in this section. Questions were asked on conclusions, direct and indirect questions, and false and vocabulary-related questions.
• Cloze Test: around 6 questions were asked on this topic.
• Error Detection: Questions were also asked on this topic, around 4-5 questions.
• Word Usage:- Questions were also asked on this topic.

Questions were also asked on word swap and sentence rearrangement. 

The difficulty level of the quantitative ability section of the IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam 2026 ranged from easy to moderate, as per the candidates' feedback. The number of good attempts in this section is between 20 and 29.

In the quantitative section of the IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam 2026, the questions were asked from the following topics:-

• Simplification: around 10 questions 
• DI-related questions on Current and Savings Accounts: around 5 questions were asked.
• Questions were asked from bar graphs: around 5 questions were asked.
• Questions were also asked from a caselet DI: at least 2 questions.
• Arithmetic-related questions were also asked in the exam, which included topics like percentages, etc.

The IBPS Clerk Prelims 2026 Exam, the difficulty level of the section, as per the candidates' feedback, was easy to moderate; there were no lengthy questions that could have taken the candidates' time. The number of good attmepts that the candidate can make from 35 questions is around 22-26. 

In the Reasoning Section of the IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam 2026, questions were asked from various topics like:-

• Floor-based puzzles and pair seating arrangements; questions were asked sequence based puzzles as well. 
• In the miscellaneous topics of the reasoning questions, 4 to 5 questions were asked on inequalities.
• Questions were also asked on direction and distance, Chinese coding, and meaningful word formation.
• Questions were also asked on pair formation, and some questions were also asked on alphanumeric questions (digits and symbols)
