TCS Employee Suicide Case in Pune: FIR Names Two Colleagues and One Outsider

Amit Abhay Bramhe , a 48 year old employee of Tata Consultancy Services died by suicide at his home in Pune’s Bhosari area on 2 June 2026. According to the FIR made later by his 19 year old son at Bhosari police station on 9 June, Bramhe left a suiceide note behind naming two women colleagues from TCS and one man who was not linked to the company. The case has now led to police investigation under charges related to abetment of suicide. Read the article to know further details.
FIR Alleges Harassment by Three People
As per the FIR, Bramhe was allegedly harassed by two TCS employees, Archana and Shashwati, along with Vinod Palicha, who is not employed by the company. Police have booked all three under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for abetment of suicide. Senior police inspector Sandip Ghorpade said that an investigation is currently underway and that TCS has also been informed so it can look into the role of the two accused employees.
The complaint further states that Vinod Palicha allegedly filed false cheating and theft complaints against Bramhe, sent him a legal notice, and also emailed complaints to TCS.
Workplace Allegations and TCS Response
The FIR also mentions that Archana and Shashwati who were part of the DEG project at TCS allegedly insulted Bramhe in front of coworkers, moved him to work he was unfamiliar with and threatened him with negative feedback. These claims have become a part of ongoing investigation. After the matter came to light TCS issued a condolence statement expressing sadness over the loss of Amit Brahme and extending support to his family. The company said employee wellbeing remains a top priority and that it is providing assistance to the bereaved family.
