According to the official notification shared, NTA has simultaneously opened the window for students to submit challenges on the provisional answer key. The window for students to submit the Answer key challenge is today, February 20, 2026.

How to Submit Challenges on JEE Main Paper 2 Provisional Answer Key
Candidates who have appeared for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Paper 2 examination on January 29, 2026, can check the steps provided below to submit the challenges on the provisional answer key
Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Main
Step 2: Click on the Paper 2 Answer Key Challenge window
Step 3: Log in with the application number ans password
Step 4: Click on the 'Challenge' regarding the Answer Key
Step 5: The question IDs will be given in sequential order
Step 6: The ID next to the question under the column 'Correct Option' stands for the most appropriate Answer Key by NTA.
Step 7: To challenge the option, candidates can use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
Step 8: Upload supporting documents by clicking on 'Choose File and Upload (all documents to be put in a single PDF file)
Step 9: After clicking on the desired option, for Mathematics / Aptitude Test for Paper 2A (B. Arch) and Mathematics / Aptitude Test/ Planning for Paper 2B (B. Planning), scroll down and 'Save your claim and move on to the next screen.
Step 10: The Option IDs challenged will be displayed
Step 11: Click on 'Save your claim and Pay Fee finally'.
Step 12: Select the Mode of Payment and Pay a non-refundable processing fee pf Rs. 200/- for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.
