IIT Delhi has opened applications for its Executive Programme for AI in Healthcare. The six month course is offered through the Continuing Education Programme of the institute. It is built for people who want to understand and apply artificial intelligence in real healthcare settings. The programme will start on December 12, 2026 and will finish on May 30, 2027. Who Can Apply And What The Course Covers

The programme welcomes healthcare professionals along with technology leaders and innovators. Any graduate professional working in industry or academia in areas relevant to AI in healthcare is eligible to apply. IIT Delhi also shared this update through a post on X so more people can learn about the opportunity.

Classes will run for six months on weekends only. Sessions will be held on Saturdays from 6 pm to 7:30 pm and on Sundays from 11 am to 12:30 pm. The sessions are live and conducted online so working professionals can upgrade their skills without leaving their jobs.

Participants will gain practical exposure through live expert led sessions. The curriculum covers AI and ML foundations along with healthcare data and clinical AI applications. It also includes Generative AI and Agentic AI workflows and responsible AI adoption. Learners will work with real clinical data and build intelligent models as part of the training. The teaching style stays simple for professionals who may not come from a coding background.

Artificial intelligence is transforming healthcare in many ways. It supports early diagnosis and personalised treatment and clinical decision support. It also improves workflow optimization and patient centric care across hospitals and clinics.
