CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025: Private candidates can now register for the CBSE supplementary exam, which is available for both classes 10 and 12. Students can get the important information regarding the supplementary exam here.

CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025 Registration: The Central Board of Secondary Education has finally started the registration process for classes 10th and 12th. The registration window is now open for private candidates from May 30 to June 17, 2025. 

Eligible students can submit their application on the official website of CBSE, which is cbse.gov.in. The private students who appear under the ‘compartment’ category are eligible to apply. Additionally, students who are not satisfied with their result can also apply for the supplementary exams. 

CBSE Class 10th, 12th Supplementary Exam Schedule

The supplementary exams for classes 10th and 12th will commence from May 15, 2025. CBSE will release a datesheet for this soon. CBSE class 10th students are allowed to appear in up to two subjects and class 12th students can go for imnprovement exams in one subject. 

Steps To Apply For Supplementary Exams?

  • Visit the official website: cbse.gov.in.
  • Go to the link that says, 'Private Candidate Supplementary Examination 2025' section.
  • Fill in the required details and select the subject for which you want to appear. 
  • Upload the important documents like your photographs and other details. 
  • Pay the application fee through the available payment options. 
  • Download and save the acknowledgement for further reference. 

Candidates must maintain accuracy while filling in all the details, as no corrections will be allowed after the registration is done. The admit card for the supplementary exam will be available soon in the month of July 2025.
