CBSE Class 12 Compartment Exam 2026 Dates Out, LOC submission Starts From June 2, 2026

The CBSE Class 12 Compartment Exam 2026 date has been released by the board. The supplementary exam for Class 12 will be conducted on July 15, 2026. The Class 12 compartment exam will be a single-day examination. As passing in four subjects are mandatroy in CBSE 12th Exam. As per the official notification, the List of Candidates, LOC will be only submitted online. There will be no changes accepted such as addition or deletion of name, addition or deletion of subjects, once the LOC is submitted, will be accepted by the Board.

The Board will begin the submission for the supplementary examination on June 2, 2026. Both candidates looking to improve their performance after passing the main exams and those placed in the compartment category in the main exam 2026 are eligible to submit the LOC. CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 has been declared. This year, the overall pass percentage has declined to 85.20%, marking a dip of 3.19% points compared to 88.39% recorded in 2025.

Eligible Candidates for Compartment Exam

The following category of students will be allowed to appear for the supply exam.

1. Students who have passed Class 12th in 2026 and want to improve their performance in one/two subjects only.
2. Students who have appeared in Class 12th in 2026 and have been placed in the Compartment Category.
3. Students who have appeared in Class 12th in 2025 and have been placed in the Compartment Category. As 03 opportunities are given to clear the Compartment, this examination would be the last opportunity for these students.
