This year, a total of 3,30,744 students have appeared for the Assam HS Final (Class 12) Exams 2026 at 821 exam centres across the state.

The stream-wise details of number of candidates who have appeared for the exams is given below. Arts Stream had a total of 2,47,865 students, of which 1,02,648 were boys, 1,45,216 were girls, and 1 was transgender

Science Stream had a total of 61,568 students appear, of which 34,801 were boys, 26,766 were girls, and 1 was transgender

Commerce Stream had a total of 19,806 students, of which 13,782 were boys, and 6,024 were girls.

In the Vocational Stream, a total of 1,505 students appeared, of which 887 were boys, and 618 were girls. 

Assam Board will likely announce the results in the morning session, similar to the previous year. According to last year's schedule, Assam 12th result was announced on April 30, 2026, at 9 AM. A total of 3,02,613 students appeared for the exams. The overall pass percentage recorded was 81.77%. Girls achieved an overall pass percentage of 82.95% in 2025 and the pass percentage for boys was 78.42%.
