Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have clinched the China Masters 2026 title after a hard fought final against China’s He Ji Ting and Ren Xiang Yu on Sunday, September 6. The Indian pair made a brilliant comeback after losing the opening game to seal a 2-1 victory, winning 11-21, 21-13, 21-17.

The China Masters is a BWF Super 750 tournament and this triumph will be a major confidence boost for Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty. Their victory comes at an important stage of the season with Asian Games 2026 set to commence later this month.

The Indian duo made a brilliant comeback after losing the first set in the China Masters 2026 final. Even in the deciding game, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty found themselves under pressure after trailing by 14-11.  

However, they produced a significant comeback in the closing stages and held their nerve to win the game 21-17 and seal the China Masters 2026 title.

Satwik and Chirag started their China Masters 2026 campaign in the Round of 32 against Germany’s Mark Lamsfuss and Marvin Seidel.
