In a grand ceremony held at the Abbey Road Studios in London, the International Cricket Council (ICC) proudly welcomed seven legendary players into the ICC Hall of Fame for 2025. In 2025, the ICC includes five male players and two female players for their outstanding performance in cricket tournaments. Their induction as part of the Class of 2025 brings the total number of Hall of Fame honours to 122 players. These players were chosen through a selection process involving existing Hall of Fame members.

Mr. Jay Shah, ICC Chairman, said, “Through the ICC Hall of Fame, we pay tribute to the finest players the game has seen, individuals whose remarkable careers have shaped cricket's legacy and inspired generations.”
The ICC Hall of Fame pays tribute to extraordinary players in cricket tournaments who achieved legendary records in cricket for their last five years of outstanding individual performances.
The ICC Hall of Fame was launched in 2009 as a part of the ICC’s centenary celebrations. Since then, the ICC has celebrated the Fame every year for the greatest player in the cricket tournament.

Matthew Hayden, who is a powerful opening batter of the Australian team, intimidated the fastest bowlers in the world with his batting. MS Dhoni was one of the coolest captains from all over the world. His helicopter shot, when he hit in the final match of the ICC Men’s World Cup tournaments in 2011, made the winning shot for the team India. As the captain of Team India, Dhoni earned all three ICC tournament formats, which are the ICC Men’s T-20 in 2007, the ICC Men’s World Cup in 2011, and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013. In his captaincy, India ranked 1 in the cricket tournament globally.

Graeme Smith, who was a powerful opening batter of the South African team. He smashed many faster bowlers, and he was also arguably an even better captain.
