Who is the real culprit in this murder mystery of Mr. William?

On Sunday afternoon, Mr. William, was taking napping, but, tragically, he found murderd inside his residence under mysterious circumstances.

Due to this tragic incidence, every one shocked because during his murder, no one from outside, and only his wife, his butler, house- maid, gardener, and his chef was present while he has been murdered.

On the arrival of police, they accused these five person as prime suspects for the murder of Mr. William, but police also unable to find any clues, or hint. 

So, they called Mr. Cassano, who is expert in solving these types of mysterious cases.

He called all five suspects, and asked, what they are doing in afternoon on Sunday.

One by one, they all come-up with their statement, which were:

1. Mrs. Brown, his wife, stated that she had been sitting in the living room, quietly reading a book throughout the afternoon. She appeared calm but deeply distressed by the sudden loss.

2. The butler said that he had been in his quarters taking a shower and therefore did not witness or hear anything unusual.

3. The maid explained that she had been in the laundry room, folding clothes and attending to her regular household duties.

4. The gardener reported that he was outside in the garden, planting tomatoes and tending to the plants, far from the main house.

5. However, the chef claimed that he had been in the kitchen, who is preparing breakfast for everyone.

After hearing their statements very carefully, considering the incident day and time, he understood all the matters, and asked the police to arrest the real culprit.
