UPTET Result 2026 Link Not Working: If you are part of the selection process for Uttar Pradesh TET-2026, then this news is for you. In a major development, the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has removed the UPTET Result 2026 window from its official portal, upessc.up.gov.in. It is noted that recently the Commission had uploaded the UPTET Result 2026 on its official website and also it has displayed two major developments, the commission has decided to form a 5-member committee which will look into the matter and yesterday it has released short notice with fixing the deadline for raise representation till September 10, 2026.
After the results were declared, some candidates claimed that their scores were higher when calculated against the provisional and final answer keys, yet the marks reflected in the final result were lower. Consequently, many candidates protested against the outcome immediately after the results were released. In response, senior officials of the commission convened an emergency meeting and decided to constitute a committee.
UPTET Result 2026 Check the Timeline
The UPTET 2026 results were released by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) on August 26, 2026. It is noted that, as per the reports, following the declaration of results, the status of approximately 60,000 candidates was displayed as 'rejected' on the website; consequently, the link to the UP TET result has been removed from the portal. The primary reason cited for this rejection was the incorrect entry of details—such as roll numbers, question paper booklet numbers, and other mandatory fields—which prevented the computer software from evaluating the OMR sheets.

Formation of a Five-Member Committee
Following complaints from students, the Commission has constituted a five-member committee to look at the issue raised by the candidates. The committee was constituted with the aim of thoroughly examining the grievances raised by the candidates. Additionally, the committee will re-examine the answer sheets and the online evaluation process. Once the investigation is complete, the committee will submit a report to the Commission. Should any discrepancies be found, the results will be rectified immediately.
Representations Was To Submit until September 10
In another major development, the Commission released short notice regarding the raising representation in online mode till September 10, The notice issued by the Commission stated that any candidates facing issues regarding the UPTET results may submit representations via email to upesscprayagraj@gmail.com by September 10. Additionally, candidates can submit their representations by visiting the office or sending them via post.
As per reports, the status 'Rejected' appeared on the scorecards of approximately 60,000 candidates. The Commission stated that the evaluation software could not process the OMR sheets because candidates had entered incorrect roll numbers, question paper series codes, or other coded details. However, candidates strongly protested against this large-scale rejection.
After the UPTET 2026 results were declared, many candidates claimed that their calculated marks—based on the provisional and final answer keys released by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC)—were above the cut-off. However, when the online scorecards were released on August 26, their marks were found to be significantly lower.
