UP Police Constable Physical Eligibility 2025
The UPPRPB will conduct a Physical Test after the written exam as part of the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2025. This stage consists of two main parts, the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
In the Physical Measurement Test, the candidate’s height, chest (for males), and weight (for females) are measured as per the category-wise standards. Candidates who meet these physical standards will proceed to the next round.
In the Physical Efficiency Test, candidates must complete a specified running distance within a set time limit. Candidates who clear both PMT and PET will be shortlisted for the medical test after document verification.

UP Police Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
As part of the UP Police Constable selection process, the UPPRPB will conduct a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) after the physical measurement round. In this stage, candidates must complete a running task within a specified time limit. The running distance and time are different for male and female candidates.
Male candidates have to run 4.8 kilometers within 25 minutes, while female candidates need to run 2.4 kilometers within 14 minutes. If candidates fail to complete the run within the given time, it will result in disqualification from further stages of the recruitment process.
