What is the Nationality to Apply for SSC Exam?

  • Indian Citizen: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Other Nationalities: Candidates from Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, and individuals of Indian origin who have migrated from countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, and East African countries can also apply. However, they need to meet the specific conditions defined by the Indian Government.

SSC Physical Standards

For SSC CPO (Police): Height, chest measurement, and physical fitness standards apply. Example: Male candidates: Height 170 cm, Chest 80 cm (with 5 cm expansion); Female candidates have different requirements.

Medical Standards

Required for SSC CPO (Police) and certain physically demanding roles: Medical examination is mandatory.

Language Proficiency
