ICFRE Recruitment 2026: Highlights 

Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE)  will start the online registration process for various posts on May 4, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can find all the information provided in the table below:

ICFRE Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria 

Before applying, Interested candidates are advised to carefully check the complete eligibility criteria post-wise for RRB ALP details from the list given below. It includes educational qualification, nationality, as well as age relaxation 

1. Library Information Assistant (Level-6)

• Candidates must graduate from a recognized University
• Candidates must Bachelor's degree in Library Science from a recognized University
• The minimum age is 18 years
• The maximum age is 27 years

2. Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research) (Level-5)

• Candidates must Bachelor's degree in Science from a recognized University
• Subjects: Botany / Zoology / Forestry / Environment / Ecology / Bio-Technology / Genetics / Micro-Biology / Geology / Bio-Chemistry (any one of the subjects)
• The minimum age is 21 years
• The maximum age is 30 years

3. Stenographer Grade II (Level-4)

• Candidates must have passed the 12th Class from a recognized Board
• The Minimum stenography speed of 80 words per minute in English or Hindi
• Certificate Course in Computer Applications with typing speed of 5 key depressions per word
• The minimum age is 18 years
• The maximum age is 27 years

4. Technician (Field/Lab Research) (Level-3)

• Candidates must have 10+2 in Science with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board
• The minimum age is 18 years
• The maximum age is 30 years

5. Store Keeper (Level-3)

• Candidates must be 12th pass from a recognized Board
• The minimum age is 18 years
• The maximum age is 27 years

6. Technician: Maintenance (Level-2)

• Candidates must have passed Class 10th from a recognized Board
• Candidates must have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade or a Certificate course from a Govt. recognized Institute
• Trades covered: Information Technology / Carpenter / Pump Operator-Cum-Mechanic / Plumber / Electrician
• The minimum age is 18 years
• The maximum age is 30 years

7. Lower Division Clerk – LDC (Level-2)

Candidates must 12th class certificate from a recognized Board
Candidates must have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English OR 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer
The minimum age is 18 years
The maximum age is 27 years

8. Forest Guard (Level-2)

• Candidates must have passed 12th with Science from a Government-recognized Board.

• Physical Standards – Men:
• Walk: 25 km in 4 hours
• Height: Minimum 165 cm
• Chest: 79 cm (without expansion) and 84 cm (with expansion)

Physical Standards – Women:

• Walk: 14 km in 4 hours
• Height: Minimum 150 cm
• Chest: 74 cm (without expansion) and 79 cm (with expansion)
• The minimum age is 18 years
• The maximum age is 27 years

9. Multi-Tasking Staff – MTS (Level-1)

• Candidates must have passed the 10th Class from a recognized Board/School
• Candidates must have 3 or more years of experience in a relevant field
• The minimum age is 18 years
• The maximum age is 27 years
