AP Mega DSC Teacher Recruitment 2026 The Andhra Pradesh government is expected to release the notification for the AP Mega DSC Teacher Recruitment 2026 in October. The recruitment drive will fill a large number of teaching vacancies across government schools in the state providing a significant opportunity for aspiring teachers seeking a career in the education sector. 

According to the media reports Andhra Pradesh School Education Secretary Kona Sashidhar on Thursday announced that the state government is set to release the Mega DSC teacher recruitment notification in October 2026. He added that the recruitment examination is expected to be held in December, in line with the government annual job calendar.

Speaking at a press conference held at the Secretariat, Sashidhar said the recruitment process is being planned according to the timelines outlined in the state government's employment schedule.

He stated that “As per the job calendar announced by the state government, the mega DSC notification will be released in October, and an action plan has been devised to conduct the examinations in December."

To address candidates grievances  Sashidhar said the government has established a three level review system. Complaints are first examined at the district level then reviewed by a state level committee and finally assessed by the commissioner. He emphasized that every grievance is being verified fairly and without any bias.

Meanwhile Youth Services and Sports Secretary Ajay Jain stated that appointments made under the sports quota in DSC 2025 were carried out transparently and in accordance with the prescribed rules. He clarified that participation or achievements in intercollegiate competitions were not considered for employment eligibility. 

Jain further explained that a government order issued in 2012 recognized achievements in intercollegiate events, inter-district competitions, rural sports meets, women's sports festivals, and School Games Federation tournaments for employment consideration.
