CBSE Board Exam 2025: Free Psycho-Social Counseling Services for Students.The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced free psycho-social counseling services to help Class X and XII students manage exam-related stress. This initiative, which has been running for over 25 years, will be available in two phases: before and during the exams, and after the results are declared.
Key Details:
Counseling Period: Services will be available from February 1st, 2025, to April 4th, 2025, aligning with the lead-up to the board exams starting on February 15th, 2025.
Support Services Offered:
1. 24/7 Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS):
- A toll-free number (1800-11-8004) will provide round-the-clock access to:
- Stress management tips
- Time management advice
- FAQs
- CBSE contact information
- Available in both Hindi and English.
2. Tele-Counseling Services:
- A team of 66 trained professionals, including principals, counselors, special educators, and psychologists, will offer one-on-one sessions.
- Availability: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
- Counselors will be based in India, with some from Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman, and the UAE.
3. Podcast/Audio-Visual Content:
- Bilingual resources on topics such as:
- Stress management
- Preparation strategies
- Mental well-being
- Available on the CBSE website: www.cbse.gov.in.
