Immediately after releasing the SBI Clerk Mains Result and LTP, SBI will start the document process. Shortlisted candidates will receive a formal communication regarding the schedule and venue for DV.

Once the link is live, candidates will see a notification titled 'Main Examination Results' under the ongoing recruitment of Junior Associates. Clicking this link will typically open a PDF file containing the roll numbers of the provisionally selected candidates.

While the initial notification mentioned 6,589 vacancies, the bank reserves the right to modify this number. Any increase in vacancies at the last moment could lead to a lower cut-off, benefiting more candidates in the waitlist.

Candidate selected as an Junior Associate in SBI is just the beginning. Employees can appear for internal promotional exams (TO/JMGS-I) after 3 years of service. This will allow Junior Associate to climb the ladder to officer cadre relatively quickly compared to other banks.

Shortlisted candidates will undergo a probation period of 6 months. During this time, they are required to complete e-lessons and mandatory training modules. A performance review is conducted at the end of 6 months before final confirmation in the bank's service.

SBI does not conduct interview for the post of Junior Associate. Candidates performance in the Mains exam is the sole criterion for selection as a Clerk in the country's largest public sector bank.

As per the expert analysis, the General Category cutoff for states like West Bengal and Kerala might touch 80+, while for Bihar and Gujarat, it can be around 70-75. These estimates are based on candidate feedback regarding the Quantitative Aptitude section, which was reported as "Lengthy but manageable". Actual cutoff marks will be released by SBI.

As the Mains exam was conducted in multiple shifts, SBI will apply a normalisation formula to ensure equity among candidates. This process adjusts the difficulty level of different paper sets. This test is mandatory for candidates who have not studied the local language of the applied state in their 10th or 12th standard.
