OTET 2026 Exam Date Revised: Check New Exam Date, Admit Card Dates and Other Details

The Board of Secondary Education, BSE, Odisha, has officially changed the date of the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test, OTET 2026 exam. The exam was scheduled to be conducted on June 21, 2026. Now, the exam will be conducted on June 28, 2026, as per the official notice. The exam will be conducted in two shifts, morning and afternoon. The admit card for the OTET 2026 exam will be available from June 17, 2026, at the official website, www.bseodisha.nic.in.

OTET 2026 Exam Date Revised: New Exam Dates and Shift Timings

The Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) will be conducted on a single day, i.e, June 28, 2026, across two different shifts. Candidates are advised to visit the official website to get the latest information. Given below are the shift timings for Paper I and Paper II of the OTET 2026 Exam:-

• Paper I will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
• Paper II will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Those candidates who will appear for both the Papers of the OTET Exam 2026 must plan their travel and breaks carefully, as the afternoon shift begins just two and a half hours after the morning shift concludes.

OTET 2026 Exam Date Revised: When and How to Download the OTET 2026 Admit Card?

The BSE Odisha will release the official OTET admit cards on June 17, 2026. Candidates will be required to download and print a physical copy of their hall ticket. Digital copies of the Admit Card that will be shown on mobile phones or any other devices will not be accepted at the exam centre entry gate. Given below are the simple steps through which the candidates who will be appearing for the OTET 2026 exam can download the Admit Card:-

• Visit the official website at  www.bseodisha.nic.in.
• Check for the notification tab or the Latest Updates section on the homepage and click the OTET 2026 Admit Card link.
• Type in the required login details, such as the application number and date of birth, as per the requirements.
• The admit card will be available on the screen. Review the details carefully, click submit and print the admit card.

Once you have downloaded the admit card, immediately check the spelling of your name, photograph, and exam centre address, chose subjects are printed correctly. If you spot any mistakes on the admit card, contact the BSE Odisha helpline immediately to request the correction before the June 28, 2026, exam.
