The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) will conduct the state-level recruitment exam for the MP Police Constable (7500 Vacancies). The MP Police Constable exam will be conducted on November 19, 2026, in two shifts, i.e, morning and afternoon shifts. To secure a post in the Madhya Pradesh Police Department, candidates will have to clear the Written CBT (Computer-Based Test) exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. MPESB Constable Exam Pattern 2026

The MPESB Constable exam will be conducted in online mode (CBT). The exam will have 100 objective-type questions, which will carry 100 marks, and will have to be completed within 2 hours (120 minutes). The paper will also have a +1 marking for every correct answer, and there will be no negative marking for any incorrect answer or unattempted questions. Those candidates who are applying for the Radio Constable posts will be required to appear for one more paper, i.e., Paper 2 , which will have an additional section on Computer Networking and Software Topics as prescribed by MPESB.

PET & PST Requirements of MP Police Constable 2026

Candidates who qualify for the online exam of the MP Police Constable will be shortlisted for the Physical stage according to the set requirements by the MPESB. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will carry 100 marks and will include an 800 m race, long jump, and shot put.
