JEE Mains Response Sheet 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will come up with the provisional answer key and candidate response sheets for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 today, February 4, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the January session can check these on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, by entering their application number and date of birth or password. With the release of the provisional answer key, the objection window will also open today, allowing candidates to raise objections against any discrepancies in the provisional answer key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question. The objection facility will remain open for a limited period, closing on February 5, 2026.
The JEE Main Session 1 exams were held on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2026, in a computer-based test mode over various shifts. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) was held on the first five days in two shifts daily—from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM—and Paper 2 was held on the last day in a single morning shift. After the objection window closes, experts will examine all objections submitted by candidates to finalize the answer key, which will then be used as the basis for the Session 1 results, expected to be declared by February 12, 2026.
