India vs Pakistan Asian Games 2026 Match Highlights

First Innings: India 211/6

Indian skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and decided to bat first, and the Indian batters made full use of it. The innings started with a quick partnership between Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Abhishek Sharma. Vaibhav couldn't convert his score into a big one, but Abhishek continued the innings and played a wonderful knock of 61 runs in just 28 deliveries, including 3 fours and 7 sixes, giving India a flying start.

Meanwhile, Tilak Varma came out to bat and played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 51 runs in just 22 deliveries, including 3 fours and 4 sixes, ensuring a big finish for India. Shivam Dube also contributed with another 27 runs.

For Pakistan, it was a disappointing bowling performance. Ahmed Daniyal picked up 2 wickets, but he conceded too many runs. Arafat Minhas was the most successful bowler, with two wickets and giving away 25 runs in three overs.

Second Innings: Pakistan 192/6

Pakistan came out to bat with a challenging total to chase against India. They got a poor start as Sahibzada Farhan departed for just 10 runs, as Pakistan's top order crumbled under pressure.

Hasan Nawaz was the only pick of the batters who put up some fight with a brilliant knock of 96 runs in 51 deliveries. Apart from that, it was a disappointing batting performance for Pakistan. Saim Ayub too contributed with 29 runs, but that effort was far from enough to challenge India in the final.

For India, it was once again the spinners who dominated, with Axar Patel and Washington Sundar picking up 2wickets each with a clinical spell of bowling. Apart from that, Shivam Dube also got 2 wickets.
