Asian Games 2026: How India Performed on Day 5?
The first medal came in the morning when Roshibina Devi clinched the silver medal in Wushu. She lost the final to China's Yang Yu. It was Roshibina's second consecutive Asian Games silver medal in the sport.
This was followed by a bronze medal in men's double sculls rowing, where Satnam Singh and Salman Khan finished third in the event to secure another medal for India.
India also added a silver medal in athletics as the mixed 4x400m relay team finished second in the final. In shooting, Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal won another bronze medal for India in the mixed team skeet event.
The day ended with another bronze medal in athletics as Seema Kumari finished third in the women's 10,000m race, completing a memorable day for the Indian contingent.
