UPSC ESE Exam Analysis 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2026. The exam is being conducted for 474 Group A engineering posts across various disciplines of Engineering such as Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, and others. The ESE is being conducted by the UPSC every year and it consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I includes General Studies and Engineering Aptitude. Paper II is related to Technical Discipline. Both the papers are objective in nature consisting of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in Paper I and 150 MCQs in Paper II. Paper I will be of 2 hours duration and Paper II will be provided 3 hours duration.
