SSC CPO Salary 2026: Allowances and Benefits

Apart from basic pay SSC CPO Sub-Inspectors receive allowances and benefits applicable to their post, department and place of posting. These components form an important part of the overall salary package. The actual allowances depend on the government rules and the nature of the posting. Therefore candidates should not consider a fixed allowance amount for every SSC CPO posting.

  • Dearness Allowance

  • House Rent Allowance

  • Transport related allowance

  • Other allowances applicable under government rules

  • Medical and other service related benefits as applicable

SSC CPO Salary Deductions

The in-hand salary is lower than the gross salary because certain deductions are made from the monthly pay. These deductions vary depending on the employee's service conditions and applicable government rules.

Common deductions include contributions towards retirement or other applicable schemes, along with other deductions as applicable . Therefore the final amount credited to the employee's bank account differs from the gross salary.
