SSC CHSL 2026 Notification Out: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on September 7, has released the detailed notification for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026. Steps to Apply for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 Online?

To apply for the SSC CHSL posts, candidates are advised to be sure their eligibility as per the posts released. You can apply for these posts after following the steps given below-
Step 1: Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: Initially, first of all complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process if you are a new user.
Step 3: Now use your login credentials i.e. Registration Number and Password and login to the website.
Step 4: Now click on the SSC CHSL 2026 Apply Online link on the home page.
Step 5: Fill in your personal, educational, and communication details.
Step 6: Now upload the required documents including photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

Total Tentative Vacancies

A total of 2536 vacancies have been released by the SSC under the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026. Under the recruitment drive, different Group C posts will be filled specifically Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), and Data Entry Operator Grade 'A' across various Ministries, Departments, and Offices of the Government of India. Remember that these vacancies are tentative; the final numbers will be determined in due course after the Commission scrutinizes documents provided by the various User Departments.

However, this year the vacancy released by the Commission is less than previous years i.e. 3522 in 2025. The number was 3712 released in 2024.Certainly trends show that there is decrease in the total number of vacancies released for SSC CHSL Notification. But candidates should keep in mind that these posts can be revised and it can be increased till the final round of selection process.
