IDBI JAM Exam Day Guidelines 2025
The IDBI Bank has published the information handout for the JAM written exam on the official website. It comprises the general instructions with exam pattern, and sample questions for all subjects. Candidates must adhere to the IDBI JAM exam day guidelines to maintain decorum and discipline in the exam hall.
- You must carefully check the reporting time and venue address of the written exam in your respective call letter.
- Visit the exam venue one day before the exam to confirm the exam location. Latecomers are not permitted.
- It is mandatory to carry the admit card with your recent passport-size photograph duly pasted on it to the exam centre.
- Items like books, notebooks or written notes, cell phones (with or without camera facility) or any other electronic device are strictly prohibited during the examination.
- You should bring valid photo identity proof like PAN Card/Passport/Permanent Driving License/Voter’s Card with photograph/Bank Passbook with photograph/Photo Identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer or by a People’s Representative on official letterhead/Identity Card issued by a recognised College or University/Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar Card with a photograph / Employee ID) to the exam centre. Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will not be accepted as valid ID proof.
- You cannot leave your seat unless you are permitted.
- You should carry a ball-point pen & blue ink stamp pad. Sheets of paper will be given, which can be used for rough work or taking down the question number that you want to review at the end of the test before submission of your response.
- The candidates who are eligible and want to use the scribe facility must submit a Scribe Declaration Form. Those who have opted for the scribe facility must be accompanied by the same scribe whose details have been provided in the application Form.
- Rough sheet(s) kept at each test-taker's desk will be used by the test-taker. They will have to write their Roll Number, Registration Number, Name and date of examination on each of the rough sheets used by them.
- Biometric data (Right thumb impression), IRIS and Photograph will be captured at the exam centre/ venue. The photo captured will be matched with the photo provided by the aspirants in the application. You must not change your appearance from the photo uploaded by you.

IDBI JAM Exam Pattern 2025
The JAM written exam will be conducted online. A total of 200 questions will be asked for 200 marks in the exam. The medium of the question paper shall be English & Hindi, except for the test of English Language. There shall also be negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
