The CTET question paper 2026 is available for download. The CTET exam was conducted for two papers i.e. paper 1 and paper 2, where paper 1 is conducted for classes I-V and paper 2 is conducted for classes VI-VIII. The CTET paper 1 is divided into 5 sections i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Science, whereas CTET paper 2 is divided into 4 sections i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, and Mathematics/Science or Social Studies. CTET 2026 Qualifying Marks for General, OBC, and SC/ST Categories
To get the CTET eligibility certificate, candidates must meet the minimum qualifying criteria set by the CBSE. For the General (UR) category, the qualifying benchmark is 60%, which translates to scoring 90 out of 150 marks. Candidates from reserved categories, including OBC, SC, ST, and PwD, are granted a 5% relaxation, requiring a 55% score, or 82 out of 150 marks, to pass.
