AP SET 2026 Registration: The Andhra University has invited online applications from the eligible candidates for AP SET 2026 (Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test). APSET is conducted for the candidates aiming to secure eligibility to become Lecturers and Assistant Professors in universities and degree colleges across Andhra Pradesh. This state-level eligibility examination is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam under the Government of Andhra Pradesh. How to Apply for AP SET 2026
Candidates can follow the step-by-step process given below to submit their application online:

Go to the official website: apset.net.in.

Click on the “View Notifications” button on the homepage and you will be displayed with the APSET 2025 notification on your screen.

Download the notification and read it carefully.

Now go back to the homepage and click on “Apply Now”. Important instructions for APSET 2025 will be displayed on your screen. Read them carefully before proceeding further.

Click on “Register Here”. On the bottom of the page. You will be redirected to apset.aptonline.in.

Click on the “Fill Application Form” link.

Before filling out the main form, candidates must pay the registration fee. Click the "Application Fee Payment" link. Enter mandatory details accurately, including name, date of birth, mobile number, and educational details. After confirming details, click "Proceed to Payment" to be redirected to the payment gateway.

Upon successful payment, a Payment Reference ID is generated. This ID must be saved for all future correspondence.

Now click "Proceed to Fill Application" to access the full form. The form is divided into several sections:

Candidates select up to five preferences for their preferred test centers.

After confirming/freezing the application, it is successfully submitted. The confirmation page will be displayed below; candidates should print it for future reference.

AP SET 2026 Registration Fee
Application form processing fees as stated below is to be paid through an online system only by Credit Card / Debit Card (RuPay / Visa / MasterCard / Maestro), Internet Banking for which the convenience charges shall be applicable in addition to the application fee. No other mode of payment shall be permitted. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

AP SET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed a Master’s Degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized university.

Minimum qualifying marks:

General / EWS: 55%

SC / ST / BC / PwD / Third gender category candidates : 50% Marks shall be calculated without rounding off.

Candidates appearing in the final year may apply provisionally(They Should Produce PG Pass Certificate within Two Years From the date of Eligibility) Proof of qualification must be produced at the time of appointment, failing which eligibility shall be cancelled.

AGE LIMIT: There is no upper age limit for APSET.
