Back in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the main celebrations in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He performed yoga alongside over 3 lakh people at the venue, as part of the Ministry of AYUSH's 'Yoga Sangam' initiative. The event was also synchronised with yoga sessions at more than 10 lakh locations across India.
