The Royal Portrush Golf Club has a strong golfing history, and the expectation to have 250,000 people for the week-long event hosted at Royal Portrush is substantial.

Prize Money for the Open Championship Schedule

The total award fund for the 2025 Open Championships is $ 17 million, which is similar to the previous year - it was made for the first time since 2012 that the purse has not increased.

 The champion will take home $ 3.1 million, which represents 18% of the overall prize money.
