NIACL AO Probation Period
Applicants appointed in the Officers’ cadre will undergo probation for a period of 1 year from the date of joining the services. The probation period can be extended up to one year. During this phase, the Officers should qualify the non-life Licentiate exam organised by the Insurance Institute of India. Successful candidates in this test will be considered for confirmation of service in the Company. Those who fail to pass this test within the extended probation period may face termination from service.
NIACL AO Salary 2025: Guarantee Bond

Before joining as a probationer, the appointed AOs will have to sign an undertaking to work for the Company for at least four years.

If they resign from the Company prior to the expiry period, they will have to pay liquidated damages equal to one year’s gross salary received during the probation year.

They will have to provide a stamped Indemnity Bond duly backed by two sureties (not blood relatives) of sound financial standing for the same amount.

Those who resign or are terminated from the company during the probation period will have to return the gross salary received during their entire service, plus Rs 25,000 towards the partial training cost.
